Description

Design and develop critical components for Kindle E-readers, focusing on performance, security, and power optimization. You will own the release pipeline, root cause technical challenges, and train new team members on software construction and operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design secure software that protects customer data on devices.
• Ship and review C++, ReactNative, or Java code for reading features.
• Collaborate with product owners and UX designers on architecture and design.
• Monitor deployment pipelines and dashboards for optimal performance.
• Root cause issues and propose effective solutions for technical challenges.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of senior-level software development experience.
• Expertise in C/C++ programming.
• Full-stack development capabilities.
• Experience with ReactNative and Java.
• Strong background in mobile development.
• Understanding of distributed systems and software architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kindle E-reader development or hardware-software integration.
• Knowledge of network programming and security implementation for consumer devices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and deployment pipelines.
