Description

You will design and implement scalable architectural solutions for large-scale distributed systems, owning the full lifecycle from code to production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural solutions focusing on observability, availability, scalability, and API design.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for critical projects using JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js.
• Mentor junior engineers through design guidance and meaningful PR code reviews.
• Drive engineering initiatives to reduce technical debt and strengthen the technical foundation.
• Manage releases, participate in on-call rotations, and lead production incident response and post-mortems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software industry experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js.
• Experience building single-page web applications using React, Ember.js, or AngularJS.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript core concepts, including scope, closures, the event loop, and asynchronous patterns.
• Proficiency with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Experience designing and implementing standardized, secure, and intuitive REST APIs.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and microservices.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development and observability instrumentation.
• Practical understanding of the full SDLC and Scrum ceremonies.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Prior experience in payments and risk domains.
