Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack services and microservices architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and frontend interfaces with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL, with experience in MS SQL or MySQL.
• Implement and manage REST APIs and integrate with message brokers such as NATS or Kafka.
• Architect and deploy microservices, ensuring robust database design and system reliability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Full-stack capability with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (MS SQL/MySQL considered).
• Proven track record building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with message brokers like NATS or Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput messaging.
• Background in cloud-native application development.
