Description

You will own the maintenance, monitoring, and performance optimization of Java-based microservices in a messaging-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and core Java.
• Implement and manage message queue integrations, specifically with IBM MQ.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure application stability and efficiency.
• Utilize Splunk and Dynatrace for log analysis and monitoring system changes.
• Support service aggregation logic using Apache Flink or IBM IIB/ACE where required.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience with Java and Core Java.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers, specifically IBM MQ.
• Expertise in using Splunk for log monitoring and change analysis (dashboard creation not required).
• Experience with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Flink for data streaming.
• Knowledge of IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
