Lead web application development teams specializing in Java-based libraries and microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage web application development teams focused on Java-based libraries.
• Architect, design, and develop Java applications and microservices.
• Own the Azure DevOps lifecycle, including GIT repository management and CI/CD build and release pipelines.
• Implement identity management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Monitor Azure services and custom applications using observability tools.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience managing web application development teams.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and JSP.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Services including ACA/AKS, Azure VMs, Functions, Logic Apps, APIM, and Application Gateway.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of HTTPS, SAML, OpenID, and OAuth protocols.
• Experience with React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Maven, Gradle, and ANT build tools.
• Experience with Docker, JFrog Artifactory, Veracode, and SonarQube.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Azure AI Services and Azure Machine Learning.
• Experience with Elastic, Dynatrace, .NET applications, Microsoft Dataverse, Web CMS, or Salesforce.
