Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices for payment processing systems in Java.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build RESTful APIs using Jersey and Swagger with reactive programming patterns.
• Implement microservices architecture using event sourcing, CQRS, and eventual consistency.
• Manage automated testing with Mockito and Cucumber to ensure code quality.
• Own CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and containerize applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java SE and Java EE application development.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, event sourcing, and CQRS.
• Proficiency with Akka and reactive programming techniques.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Mockito, Cucumber).
