Description

You will lead the development and maintenance of Android applications while shaping platform direction.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications and manage the Google Play Store presence.
• Collaborate on feature planning and define long-term platform direction.
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolutions with customers and internal teams.
• Manage the Android build process and implement continuous integration workflows.
• Provide work estimates and technical plans to supervisors and product managers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing commercial Android applications.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android application and security APIs.
• Experience with Android build toolchains and shell scripting.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience writing unit-testable code.
• Ability to pass a security background check.
• Ability to travel occasionally, including international travel.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with REST web services, Angular, and Cordova.
