Description

You will lead the modernization of core judicial systems by rewriting two major applications using full-stack development and event-driven architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot and build responsive front-end UIs with React.
• Integrate event-driven components using RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Deploy and maintain applications within Kubernetes environments.
• Create sequence diagrams for major use cases and document architectural decisions.
• Perform unit testing to ensure a minimum of 85% code coverage.

Required Skills

• 7–10 years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot microservices.
• Proficiency in React for front-end development.
• Experience with event-driven design principles and message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployment.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Ability to write unit tests and create technical sequence diagrams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Ability to work onsite in Annapolis, MD 3 days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Elastic Search and Angular.
• Deep understanding of design patterns and enterprise-grade architecture.
• Experience with system performance optimization and monitoring tools.
