Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable functionality within the Formworks application. Responsibilities include leading architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities for application software.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver highly scalable, secure, and responsive software using best-practice data structures and design patterns.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle from conception to production support, including specifications, quality, release deployments, and monitoring.
• Drive code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor other software engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, architects, and DevOps to define, prioritize, and scope functional requirements.
• Produce clear, readable technical documentation for all developed components.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing and developing high-performing, secure applications.
• Hands-on experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies such as FIS FormWorks, Mavro, OPEX, or Impiira.
• Expertise in OCR editor configuration and batch support.
• Deep knowledge of 834 EDI file format and processing.
• Proven ability to identify tech debt, anti-patterns, and security threats.
• Strong understanding of software reliability, scalability, and ease of adoption.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education and experience.
