Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable functionality within Formworks applications. You will own the full software lifecycle, from architectural design and specifications to release deployments and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and system analysis for application software.
• Develop production-ready software using best-practice data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Drive code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor other software engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, architects, and DevOps to define functional requirements.
• Produce clear, readable technical documentation for all developed components.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer designing and developing secure, high-performing applications.
• 4+ years of experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies such as FIS FormWorks, Mavro, OPEX, or Impira.
• 4+ years of expertise in OCR editor configuration and batch support.
• 4+ years of experience with 834 EDI file format and processing.
• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable functionality in Formworks applications.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, frameworks, and security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or technical discipline, such as Computer Science.

• Ability to research and apply new methodologies and industry trends.
