Description

You will design and develop scalable backend services and cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain event-driven systems using Kafka, Avro, and Schema Registry.
• Design scalable REST APIs and gRPC services following OpenAPI 3.x standards.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Cloud Deploy.
• Develop cloud-native applications on GCP, leveraging Cloud Run, Spanner, Bigtable, or MongoDB Atlas.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin OR Go and/or TypeScript for large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-native architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka-based architectures and event-driven design patterns.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management and modern CI/CD automation.
• Experience with gRPC, REST APIs, and database systems such as Spanner, Bigtable, MongoDB Atlas, or PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Avro and Schema Registry for data serialization.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering velocity.
