Description

Senior Software Engineer owning complex solution design, infrastructure reliability, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of complex solutions, translating business requirements into technical implementations and costing.
• Own risk identification and root cause analysis, providing technical solutions to reduce incident volume and mean time to recover.
• Manage detailed implementation and project plans across multiple work streams to ensure timelines and standards are met.
• Direct standards for monitoring, capacity planning, performance optimization, backups, and recovery to ensure infrastructure meets requirements.
• Coordinate with developers, vendors, and operations groups to resolve application process issues and manage production environment changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Strong experience with TypeScript development.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and workflows.
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for pipeline and project management.
• Ability to author technical documentation, including complex change instructions and operational procedures.
• Experience managing change control processes to minimize service disruption and adhere to SLAs.
