Lead backend architecture and system design for pricing, promotions, and revenue management services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-scale throughput.
• Develop event-driven integrations using Kafka, Solace, and Azure Event Hub for data distribution.
• Optimize database performance across SQL and NoSQL stores, including schema design and query tuning.
• Implement caching strategies and distributed system patterns like Redis and circuit breakers.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive automated testing and CI/CD improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience building scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with messaging platforms: Kafka, Solace, Azure Event Hub.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to frontend technologies: Angular, React, or AngularJS.
• Experience with automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
