Description

Design and build distributed systems processing millions of events per second with high availability and low latency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end projects from design through production, ensuring scalability and operational excellence.
• Evaluate and evolve streaming alerting and eventing platforms to improve throughput and reliability.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate alerting and event services into the customer observability ecosystem.
• Develop secure, multi-tenant integrations with third-party providers, handling sensitive credentials.
• Champion best practices for distributed systems, including resilience and fault tolerance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience in Java or Go.
• Experience with streaming data pipelines using Apache Flink, Kafka, or Kinesis.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architectures (SOA) and inter-service communication via gRPC or REST.
• Strong understanding of AWS, cloud networking, and Infrastructure-as-Code patterns.
• Knowledgeable in encryption, authentication, and secure data handling for multi-tenant SaaS.
• Experience operating in high-scale environments processing millions of events daily.
• Proficiency with Java, Go, Apache Flink, Kafka, Kinesis, REST, AWS, MongoDB, and S3.
