Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Java and the Spring framework. You will lead the migration of monolithic applications to microservices architecture while implementing cloud-native practices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your work will ensure API security, performance, and reliability through effective analytics, throttling, and logging. You will also contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead the migration of legacy monolithic applications to cloud-native microservices on GCP.
• Ensure API security, performance, and reliability via analytics, throttling, and logging strategies.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage data relationships using SQL and NoSQL databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and cloud-native development.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of API security, performance tuning, and logging.
