Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang in a cloud-native environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement high-performance, loosely coupled microservices using Golang.
• Develop and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Integrate networking protocols, API gateways, service meshes, and backend data paths.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in active code reviews.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total software development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of production-level Golang development, including concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels).
• Hands-on experience building RESTful/gRPC APIs and microservice patterns.
• Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC), sockets, and routing.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with Python for scripting, automation, or service development.
• Experience with Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and network security.
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed databases.
