Description

You will manage and scale the GitHub environment for a large-scale developer organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer the GitHub environment and build self-service tooling to improve the developer experience.
• Design and implement automation using GitHub APIs to integrate with internal systems.
• Develop and enforce security controls for code and privacy repositories.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day management issues and provide technical documentation and training.
• Drive technical projects to completion and resolve complex infrastructure issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software programming experience.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other high-level language such as Java, Node, Golang, or Groovy.
• Deep knowledge of Git, version control, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong proficiency in Linux, Bash scripting, and computer networking.
• Experience using observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or SignalFx.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of computer security, user identity, permissions, and SSO.
• Experience building and using GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
