You will design, develop, and support scalable software systems and infrastructure within the networking industry.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver mission-critical, 24x7 production-quality software systems.
• Transform monolithic software systems into microservice-oriented architectures.
• Develop next-generation network architecture using software networking technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations staff, and architects to implement system enhancements.
• Research and prototype new technologies for network architecture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience including design, debugging, and support.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and Go.
• Experience with software debugging tools such as JDB and JMX.
• Deep understanding of scale-out infrastructure, distributed systems, and web services.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with ODL, REST, RESTCONF, and RPC services.
• Linux environment expertise including automation scripting with Ansible, Python, or Bash.
• Knowledge of Linux networking and virtualization technologies like KVM and containers.
• Experience with container management platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with messaging infrastructures such as Kafka, Thrift, or Proto-buf.
• Familiarity with logging and reporting tools like Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Database experience with MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or SQL/NoSQL.
