Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on production and non-production database support for Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and SingleStore, including incident response, patching, availability monitoring, and backup/restore.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules, scripts, and tools to provision, update, and manage cloud database resources and configuration.
• Execute and support schema changes and migrations, participate in change reviews, and perform root cause analysis for database-related incidents.
• Coordinate with platform, application, and data teams to ensure safe integration of database services into broader Ad Tech workflows.
• Maintain runbooks, procedures, and operational standards to support consistent, reliable database operations.

Skills Required:

• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or database engineering roles with hands-on operations.
• Go for scripting and operational automation in production environments.
• AWS experience supporting cloud-native database operations and infrastructure fundamentals.
• Database operations expertise, including performance tuning and availability management.
• MySQL and Python experience for database support, automation, and monitoring.

Good to Have:

• Cloud security experience for database reliability, encryption, and access controls.
• Datadog exposure for observability and alerting on database health and performance.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
