Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend APIs, tools, and capabilities to centralize data events.
• Design and implement solutions that improve development efficiency and unlock new business opportunities.
• Contribute to technical discussions on software architecture and help the team make incremental, long-term decisions.
• Diagnose complex issues by identifying patterns and underlying causes, then applying logical and analytical problem-solving.
• Deliver stable solutions that simplify and accelerate business decisions, including strengthening the integrity of payment pipelines.

Skills Required:

• 8 - 10 years of relevant backend software engineering experience.
• Backend development with Golang, Java, or Python (hands-on experience).
• System design and software architecture fundamentals to build maintainable services.
• Backend engineering practices for reliability and correctness in production systems.
• API development experience for integrating backend services and data event flows.

Good to Have:

• System Design experience and ability to translate requirements into scalable backend architectures.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or 5 years of progressively responsible experience)
