Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable features across backend services and APIs using Golang and distributed system architectures.
• Build and enhance multi-tenant SaaS platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Work with event-driven systems, microservices, and multi-threaded architectures.
• Apply best practices for upsert patterns and distributed data management, including maintaining multiple data copies for performance optimization.
• Develop solutions leveraging GraphQL, DocumentDB, OpenSearch, SpiceDB, and AWS Neptune.
• Write clean, disciplined, and maintainable code with small, meaningful commits and clear commit messages.
• Produce high-quality pull requests with awareness of system-wide impact.
• Implement strong testing strategies including unit testing, Ginkgo (BDD), and K6 performance testing.
• Participate actively in code reviews and design discussions, providing constructive technical feedback.
• Debug and resolve complex issues, including troubleshooting in customer production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on backlog grooming, estimation, and project scoping.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and system architecture.

Experience Required

• 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in SaaS or product-based environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang in building distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of GraphQL APIs and modern service-oriented architectures.
• Experience working with event-driven and microservices-based systems.
• Knowledge of distributed data management, consistency models, and performance optimization techniques.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services is a strong advantage.
• Experience with databases and platforms such as DocumentDB, OpenSearch, or graph databases is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, production-level issues.
• Experience contributing to technical design, estimation, and mentoring within teams.
