You will lead technical decisions and deliver robust data pipelines for multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure integrity.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for efficient access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
• Lead team decision-making and drive technical direction for projects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Python.
• Proficiency in AWS, Glue, and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
• Experience with data modeling and database design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google BigQuery, DataStream, or Dataflow.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL Aurora DB and handling ETL jobs.
• Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop or Spark.
