Description

You will drive the development and maintenance of backend services, owning technical execution from concept to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical projects end-to-end with minimal guidance.
• Develop and maintain backend services, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement security best practices and ensure system compliance with relevant standards.
• Proactively solve technical challenges using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and continuously improve team processes and technology stacks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience using Ruby, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong background building scalable backend architecture.
• Hands-on experience with database architecture using Postgres or MongoDB.
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write high-quality, testable, and reusable server-side code.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within an agile development team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
