Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend systems, owning the full development lifecycle from writing efficient code to deploying reliable services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Python, C++, or C#.
• Build and optimize data pipelines within the Hadoop ecosystem using Spark, PySpark, MapReduce, Hive, or Impala.
• Design and manage relational databases, focusing on MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Implement application logic using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Struts, or Hibernate.
• Write and maintain scripting languages like JavaScript to support application functionality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one core language: Java, Python, C++, or C#.
• 5+ years of experience with RDBMS technologies (MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• 5+ years of experience developing in the Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, PySpark, MapReduce, Hive, Impala).
• 5+ years of experience with application frameworks (JEE, Spring Boot, Struts, Hibernate).
• Experience with scripting languages, specifically JavaScript.
