Description

You will develop software for complex distributed medical robotic applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test software architecture for distributed robotic systems.
• Build software infrastructure including logging, fault handling, and messaging.
• Develop backend services using third-party APIs for audio recording, playback, LED control, and file management.
• Manage system status and coordination for self-tests, faults, and operating modes.
• Collaborate with other developers to integrate complex software components.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience developing C++ applications on Linux platforms.
• Proficiency with Object-Oriented methodology.
• Experience with hardware integration and product bring-up.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience working with APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Networking in a distributed system.
• Proficiency with Python, CMake, and Bash.
• Experience working with medical devices.
