Description

You will design, develop, and maintain AHV features, driving reliability, performance, and security improvements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead feature development from concept through to market release.
• Collaborate with product management, sales, and support teams.
• Mentor other software engineers on development practices.
• Interact with open source communities regarding AHV features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Expert coding skills in C and Python for enterprise software.
• Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with OS internals and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with x86 architecture, virtualization, or network/storage management.
• Ability to develop and maintain complex systems.

Preferred Skills

• Coding skills in Rust or Golang.
• Familiarity with KVM and QEMU.
