Description

Lead backend system development and process rewrites within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead process rewrites and collaborate across technical teams.
• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python, Oracle, and Postgres.
• Optimize data pipelines utilizing Kafka.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage version control via Bitbucket.
• Deploy services using Docker and EKS while parsing and transforming XML data.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Python, Oracle, and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for data pipelines.
• Proficiency with CI/CD workflows and Bitbucket.
• Experience deploying with Docker and EKS.
• Ability to parse and transform XML data.
• Proven ability to work independently in Agile settings.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization.
