Senior Software Engineer in Cary, NC, owning full-lifecycle development and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design process flows and define application requirements for all software layers.
• Deliver quality solutions independently and lead technical efforts for the group.
• Mentor team members and provide technical expertise to staff.
• Identify and resolve production issues and troubleshoot deployment environments.
• Document requirements and communicate technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Java/J2EE web development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, Spring MVC, or equivalent in the last 3 years.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate or equivalent ORM in the last 2 years.
• Experience with Kafka or JMS.
• Expertise in Web Service SOAP/REST as a service provider.
• Experience building Docker applications and working in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience deploying components in AWS EKS clusters and debugging issues.
• Experience with AWS cloud native services including S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ELB, SNS, SQS, and Route53.
• Experience using Aurora RDS for databases and Tomcat servers.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Amazon MQ for message broker services.
