Description

You will design and develop cloud-based Big Data processing systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, React JS, and Angular.
• Develop systems to parse JSON data and load it into multiple persistence stores for real-time and offline analytics.
• Execute ETL processes for data migration from various sources into target data stores and data marts.
• Develop Hive scripts, Unix Shell scripts, and Spark programs for ETL loading.
• Manage and configure middleware technologies including WebLogic, WebSphere, and IBM Integration Designer.
• Perform data profiling and develop complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
• Develop and execute test plans for applications, systems, and APIs.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience in software development (or 3 years with a Master's degree).
• Experience with application development using APIs or low-code/no-code approaches.
• Proven experience with data migration in cloud environments using Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Appian.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring Boot, Python, React JS, and Angular.
• Experience with SQL, DB2, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Cassandra, and NoSQL.
• Experience with IBM DataStage, Informatica, and Sqoop.
• Ability to administer Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization.
