Description

You will lead large-scale application migrations from PCF/TAS to OpenShift within enterprise financial services environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration projects from PCF/TAS to OCP, managing platform differences and containerization challenges.
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Manage deployment strategies including RoundRobin, Topology, and Canary load balancing.
• Execute complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for platform and migration issues.
• Mentor engineering teams and make critical technical decisions across cross-functional groups.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience with 10+ years in software development or architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on expertise in OCP configuration management and Kubernetes deployments.
• Extensive experience with PCF/TAS and OCP in enterprise Java and .NET environments.
• Proficiency in Java, .NET, and Angular.
• Experience with migration tools including Konveyor, Move2Kube, and OpenRewrite.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, Harness, and Kaniko.
• Strong knowledge of Helm charts, Calico, and Kubernetes Network Policies.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, NDM, and file storage systems.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience performing migrations specifically within the Financial Services Industry.
