Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Java and the Spring ecosystem. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and SOAP web services for robust communication.
• Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java 8, 11, or 17.
• Write effective unit and integration tests to ensure component reliability.
• Manage builds and dependencies using Maven or Gradle.
• Implement synchronous and asynchronous communication between microservices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java 8, 11, or 17 with strong knowledge of coding best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP communication, and reusable design patterns.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency with Git, version control practices, and Linux systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and GitLab pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and associated patterns.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with Shell scripting.
