You build and own distributed systems processing millions of events per second with low latency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed systems that process millions of events per second with high availability and low latency.
• Lead end-to-end projects from design through production, focusing on scalability and operational excellence.
• Evolutions streaming alerting and eventing platforms to improve throughput and reliability.
• Develop secure, multi-tenant integrations with third-party providers, managing sensitive credentials.
• Champion best practices in distributed systems design, including resilience and fault tolerance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience in Java or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture.
• Proficiency in streaming data pipelines using Apache Flink, Kafka, or Kinesis.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architectures and inter-service communication via gRPC or REST.
• Strong understanding of AWS and cloud infrastructure as code patterns.
• Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and secure data handling for multi-tenant systems.
• Comfortable operating in high-scale environments with millions of events daily.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 10+ years of working experience.
