Description

Design, build, and maintain the orchestration service layer for a highly scalable e-commerce web application.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a service framework that scales with company requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on product design and implementation.
• Build and ship features in coordination with consumer-facing engineers.
• Monitor system performance and usability to identify and rectify traffic or functionality issues.
• Review application code and plan future API upgrades with the development team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of server-side development experience.
• Proficiency with Node.js and Java/Spring.
• Strong frontend experience using JavaScript, CSS, and either Angular or React.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and a deep understanding of REST principles.
• Experience working within modern microservices architecture.
• Full lifecycle development experience including design, development, and deployment.
