Description

You will design and implement safety- and security-critical embedded software for industrial automation products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural and detailed design of product features and subsystems.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and promote automated testing practices.
• Operate software across COTS systems, custom SoCs, and embedded RTOS environments.
• Guide small engineering teams and drive continuous improvement via CI/CD.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in object-oriented analysis, design, and programming.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ for embedded systems development.
• Extensive experience in real-time embedded development using QNX and VxWorks.
• Proven track record developing software compliant with IEC 61508 and IEC 62443.
• Strong experience building automated testing frameworks using Python.
• In-depth knowledge of ARM processor architectures and low-level device driver implementation.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols, specifically Common Industrial Protocol (CIP).
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
