Description

You will design, develop, and scale GitHub’s Code Scanning feature within a full-stack agile engineering team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for the Code Scanning product.
• Contribute to the technical direction of Code Scanning and Security Products.
• Collaborate with Senior and Staff engineers on product evolution.
• Own and deliver production software changes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• Associate’s Degree plus 5+ years, Bachelor’s plus 4+ years, Master’s plus 2+ years, or Doctorate/equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience building web applications in Ruby or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems and operating software at scale.
