You will design, build, and lead the implementation of complex, scalable software systems and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable software features and distributed systems.
• Provide technical leadership, guiding the engineering team through architectural decisions.
• Optimize backend systems for high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Build and evolve microservices architectures using Python and Django.
• Integrate AI tools and concepts into the development workflow.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python (3.11+), including modern idioms and type hinting.
• Strong experience with Django, including ORM and templating.
• API design expertise, translating requirements into secure, scalable APIs.
• PostgreSQL expertise, including JSON fields and query optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Flask and JSON data handling.
