Description

You will architect and maintain TV OS software and hardware abstraction layers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop HDMI, EDID, and CEC features for smart TV platforms.
• Build abstractions over low-level SoC details for next-generation hardware.
• Perform sustenance engineering, including improvements and bug-fixes for existing Linux-based OS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and solve complex system-level issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in architecture, design, and software development for embedded devices.
• High proficiency in modern C and C++ (C++11, C++14, or C++17).
• Extensive experience with POSIX-based embedded systems, including Android, Linux, or QNX.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
• Experience with Linux OS, Make, Python, Javascript, and HTML5.
• Solid knowledge of IPC, RPC, and communication paradigms like client-server and publish/subscribe.
• Experience with IP-based protocols including HTTP, TLS, REST, Websockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, and HLS.
• Proven ability in unit testing and executing feature delivery.
