Description

You own the design and implementation of data systems that power data-driven decision making.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers to set up and support A/B testing and experimentation readouts.
• Build and manage complex data pipelines, designing and architecting databases for massive scale applications.
• Design, implement, and document performant systems for data flows that enable large-scale analysis.
• Perform data transformations to serve products and ensure data ecosystem standards are met.
• Understand analytical objectives to make logical recommendations and drive informed actions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry or academia experience working with large amounts of data.
• Expertise in Python, R, Scala, Spark, Hive, and Hadoop.
• Experience building and managing ETL and Data Pipelines.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and A/B Testing methodologies.
• Deep understanding of relational and MPP databases.
• Experience with Unix and Unix-like systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed data systems such as Presto or Pig.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, D3, or R visualization packages.
