Description

Build scalable data systems and machine learning models to enhance user experience through predictive modeling and NLP.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy predictive models, NLP solutions, and statistical analysis tools using large user datasets.
• Collaborate with system architects to design novel, scalable data systems.
• Develop data products in coordination with Development and Product teams.
• Implement machine learning techniques to improve core product functionality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or data science roles.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms including regression, decision trees, Bayesian statistics, clustering, and ensemble methods.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Practical experience with NLP libraries including SpaCy, NLTK, or Gensim.
• Experience building and optimizing classifiers and performing feature selection.
• Proficiency with backend technologies like Flask or Gunicorn.
• Knowledge of database modeling, service-oriented architecture, and continuous integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience deploying models into production using Jenkins.
• Knowledge of career/recruiting domain ontologies like O*Net-NR.
