Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full-stack application development, object-oriented programming, REST API development, database design, Agile methodologies, and modern DevOps practices. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical leadership, and the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications.
• Lead application development and support for multiple business applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams.
• Develop secure and scalable applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Develop client-side applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases and database schemas.
• Analyze and migrate legacy applications while ensuring data integrity and feature parity.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Create user stories and track project progress using Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Perform code reviews, maintain Git repositories, and follow branching strategies.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support for enterprise applications.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of application development experience within the last 7 years.
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming using .NET/C#, Java, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with client-side technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or jQuery.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and secure web applications.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
• At least 1 year of experience using Git and version control with branching strategies.
• At least 2 years of experience developing and supporting reports using Power BI, Crystal Reports, or Cognos.
• At least 3 years of Agile/Scrum experience, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
