Description

You will own the quality assurance and automation strategy for brokerage industry financial applications, with a focus on fixed income products. Your work bridges development and operations, ensuring robust test coverage across web UIs and APIs within a CI/CD environment.

Responsibilities

• Craft and maintain Java-based test suites using Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit for Web UI applications.
• Design and execute automated tests for Rest APIs and web services, including unit, component, integration, and performance tests.
• Orchestrate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Core, Git, and GitHub, integrating artifact management via Artifactory.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and application state.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and mentor team members on testing best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation, preferably within the brokerage or financial sector.
• Strong proficiency in Java for building and maintaining test frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), and JUnit.
• Expertise in testing Rest APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries for data validation.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools (Jenkins) and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Familiarity with JavaScript/Angular for web UI testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
