Description

You will develop, enhance, and integrate Windows and web-based .NET applications for state agency systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance software applications based on project management requirements.
• Design, develop, and unit test complex engineering solutions.
• Reconcile current business requirements with modern information technology standards.
• Provide production support and maintain existing system documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software design, development, and unit testing.
• Proficiency in .NET 6, .NET 8, .NET MVC, and Razor Pages.
• Experience with .NET Entity Framework and .NET Web API.
• Strong SQL Server skills (2016+) including complex queries, performance tuning, and deadlock resolution.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra for Azure Authentication.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and IIS 8.5+.
• Implementation of OOP design patterns and messaging APIs like Service Broker or SignalR.
• Front-end experience with Bootstrap and jQuery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience converting legacy VB6 applications to .NET.
