Description

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration services, REST APIs, and event-driven microservices using Node.js and TypeScript. You will build scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform using Kafka and Docker.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, high-performance microservices and integration APIs.
• Manage production support, release deployments, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Perform code reviews, write automated tests, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Lead architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers on engineering standards.
• Evaluate and integrate AI capabilities, including LLM APIs and prompt engineering, into enterprise applications.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience building enterprise APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.
• Experience with Kafka for event-driven architecture and message streaming.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, Git, and GitLab CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Confluent Kafka, Solo Enterprise Gateway, ArgoCD, and Firestore.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as LangChain, Vertex AI, OpenAI APIs, and GitHub Copilot.
