Description

You will design and implement data solution architectures for astronautical, aeronautical, sensor, and geospatial domains.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan data solution architectures for complex domain requirements.
• Research data sources and formats across astronautical, aeronautical, sensor, and geospatial domains.
• Develop software using industry best practices and conduct peer reviews.
• Collaborate with QA and product support teams to research and resolve technical issues.
• Act as a technical reference for data content and architectures in STK.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with a BS in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with an MS in a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Experience working within Visual Studio.
• Technical knowledge of STK.
• High familiarity with aerospace concepts, terminology, and technologies.
• Experience researching and integrating geospatial data content.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable development plans.

Preferred Skills

• Commercial experience integrating geospatial data into existing software products.
