This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Spring Boot applications for data processing and analytics.
• Architect and implement large-scale distributed systems ensuring fault-tolerance and performance.
• Drive the adoption of AI and cloud data platform capabilities.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Mentor team members to foster technical excellence.

Required Skills

• 8+ years experience in a Senior Software Engineer or similar role within a data platform or data engineering team.
• Proven experience building and maintaining Spring Boot applications.
• Extensive experience with Big Data and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Iceberg, Kafka, AWS Redshift, AWS EMR, and modern Big Data stack technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Java and SQL.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts including consistency, availability, and fault-tolerance.
• Comfortable working with Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and Terraform.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI and data-driven insights to drive innovation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in the insurance or SaaS industry.
