About the Role: 
As a Senior Engineer, you will be a technical expert in application and systems engineering. Your responsibilities will include providing design recommendations that align with our long-term IT strategy, ensuring seamless integration of applications across the business, and delivering business-critical software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and develop software solutions using industry-standard SDLC practices.
- Debug complex code and log files, perform code reviews, and ensure system stability and security.
- Collaborate with product teams to drive outcomes, solve technical roadblocks, and define engineering standards.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline improvements, and vendor technology evaluations.
- Coach engineers and share domain expertise to strengthen team capabilities.

Required Skills:
- 4+ years in software engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, version control, and systems design concepts.
- Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills:
- Kubernetes cluster administration (OpenShift preferred).
- Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora).
- Java Web Application Server Administration (Tomcat, Tanzu TC Server, IBM Websphere).
- AWS (EC2, Lambda), scripting (Bash/Python), automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions).
- Observability tools (DataDog, ELK, Prometheus).

Education: 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
