Description

You will design and build high-volume, low-latency, and high-availability real-time monitoring platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services using Java and Node.js.
• Build and optimize efficient, user-friendly frontend applications.
• Write technical specifications and documentation for system components.
• Debug production issues and maintain existing codebases.
• Participate in on-call rotations following a "You Build It, You Run It" model.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development engineering.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java and Node.js.
• Experience with frontend development.
• Proven track record building RESTful microservices.
• Experience using Git and Jenkins.
• Experience debugging and testing applications.
• Ability to perform basic DevOps tasks for deploying to dev/test environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience using public cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
