Description

Own features end-to-end across a modern Python and React stack, focusing on reliability, data plumbing, and enterprise integration. Ship production features for products like CAP AI and AtomAssist.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve APIs and Postgres schemas for performance, correctness, and auditability, including migrations and indexing.
• Containerize and deploy services using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Tune queues and workers (Redis, RabbitMQ, Celery) for throughput, reliability, and idempotency.
• Write typed APIs, schema migrations with backfills, and tests that catch edge cases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production experience with React and Python FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of Postgres schemas, migrations, and data integrity.
• Experience with containerization tools: Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to contribute independently and ship production code within six weeks.
• Direct communication skills with a focus on clarity and pragmatism.
• Experience with customer-facing engineering, including demos and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with background data corrections and idempotent job design.
