Description

You will design and maintain data models and ETL pipelines to support business requirements and data integrity within the Guidewire ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code using SQL and programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database design/optimization.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Java, Python, GoLang, or GoSu.
• Experience with data modeling and software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of insurance industry standards and practices.
