Description

You will design, develop, and debug software for electro-mechanical medical devices while managing project delivery and team coordination.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and debug embedded software for electro-mechanical medical devices.
• Develop and maintain design history files and required technical documentation.
• Supervise junior team members and manage third-party contract development.
• Lead complex projects and recommend new technical processes or metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related work experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience developing software in a real-time operating system (RTOS) environment.
• Experience developing software for mechatronic systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently to determine methods for project completion.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a medical environment to ISO 13485 standards.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 Medical Device Software Standard.
• Knowledge of Risk Management applications per ISO 14971.
